School Background
Pasong Buaya II, a barangay in Imus City, Cavite has seen a significant increase in the number of schoolchildren who need education. To address this issue, Pasong Buaya II Elementary School was constructed and opened in 2003. This new school helped to cater to the growing needs of the children, but as the years passed, the number of students continued to increase, causing overcrowded classrooms and a need for more schools.

In response, Dr. Corazon B. Ocampo, the District Supervisor of Imus I, approached then Municipal Mayor Engr. Homer T. Saquilayan for a lot to build another school. The mayor generously gave a 2132 sq. meter lot located at Los Pinos, Pasong Buaya II, Imus, Cavite. Negotiations were made, and the construction of Pasong Buaya III Elementary School began.
In June 2006, Pasong Buaya III Elementary School opened with a three-classroom one-story building donated by Congressman Gilbert Remulla. The school had a total enrollment of 306 pupils and was managed by a Teacher-in-charge Mrs. Jocelyn A. Limosinero. The classes were conducted as a double-single session, with Grades I, III, and V for the morning session and Grades II, IV, VI for the afternoon session.
As the years went by, the number of teachers increased to address the needs of the growing number of students. By the school year 2009-2010, the enrollment had risen to 603, including pre-elementary students. Thanks to the generosity of local officials and the dedication of educators, Pasong Buaya III Elementary School continues to provide quality education to students in the area.
