Even before the pilot implementation of limited face-to-face classes, the Department of Education (DepEd) has urged schools nationwide to start conducting self-assessment in preparation for its expansion phase. In lieu of this, Pasong Buaya III Elementary School headed by Ma'am Alona Olea Verdad conducted Teachers' Orientation on limited face-to-face implementation last November 22, 2021.
Ma'am Verdad discussed the operational guidelines on the implementation of Limited face-to-face modality and she emphasized that the framework is centered on the health and safety of learners, learning opportunities, school operation, and engagement of the entire society.
As the school prepared for this limited face-to-face, Ma'am Verdad reiterated that it is a shared responsibility with the parents and the society to ensure the safety of everyone. Also, the school is asking for the help of the stakeholders for the materials needed for the preparation like construction materials, Paint for repainting and markings, wood and plastic cover for the barriers, and materials for handwashing facilities.
This limited face-to-face implementation should be approved by the LGU and must strictly follow the health protocol implemented by the DOH. Rest assured, Pasong Buaya III Elementary School will secure expressed support and consent of parents who shall participate in the reopening of face-to-face classes in the form of written consent.
