Pursuant to DepEd No. 36, s.2019 "Guidelines on the Implementation of School-Based Feeding Program - Milk Feeding Component and its Additional Provisions and Amendments" DepEd Order. 23, S.2020 "Operational Guidelines on the Implementation of School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) for School Year 2020-2021", the Department of Education through the Bureau of Learners Support Services -School Health Division, Schools Division of Imus City and Pasong Buaya III Elementary School, implemented the nationwide School-Based Feeding Program (SBFP) pursuant to Republic Act No. 11037 known as the "𝙈𝙖𝙨𝙪𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙮𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙖𝙜𝙠𝙖𝙞𝙣 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙖 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙩𝙖𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙤 𝘼𝙘𝙩" and the General Appropriated Act (GAA) for the year 2019 which provides the inclusion of fresh milk-based products in the SBFP as additional component to hot meals to address the hunger, contribute to the improvement of their nutritional status, provide nourishment to their growth and development and help boos their immune system.
SBFP-Milk Component was done smoothly with the presence of our dear SDS Dr. Rosemarie D. Torres, ASDS Ivan Brian L. Inductivo, Dr. Marife R. Guzman, Nurse Maybelle Animas, Nurse Jackielyn Mararac, Ma'am Alona Olea Verdad Principal II, SBFP Coordinator Ms. Queneemarie Omlang, teachers, and parents.

This serves as an avenue to fine-tune the implementation strategies and best practices that may enable efficient and sustainable implementation and to enhance the impact of school nutrition interventions through the promotion and use of an integrated approach.
