Pasong Buaya III Elementary School undergoes Division School-based Management (SBM) virtual validation on February 22, 2022 by Group A headed by Dr. Josephine P. Canlas via google meet.
School-based management is one of the mandated programs of the Department of Education (DepEd) instituted through RA 9155 also known as Governance of Basic Education Act of 2001 which “encourages local initiatives for improving the quality of basic education”. It empowers the schools to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order to strategically drive and push the quality of basic education services.
To ascertain the level of practice, schools are evaluated. Results would categorize the schools as Level 1 (Beginning): establishing and developing structures and mechanisms with acceptable level and extent of community participation and impact on learning outcomes; Level II (Developing): introducing and sustaining continuous improvement process that integrates wider community participation and improve significantly performance and learning outcomes; or Level III (Advanced): ensuring the production of intended outputs/outcomes and meeting all standards of a system fully integrated in the local community and is self-renewing and self-sustaining. Being a Level 3 qualifier is a manifestation of the stakeholders’ support and initiatives to Pasong Buaya III Elementary School.
